At Gidsons, the discretion we extend to every guest extends equally to their personal information. This policy sets out plainly what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is protected. We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) of India.

Collected automatically when you visit our website, for operational and security purposes:

3. How We Use Your Information

Fulfilling Your Reservation The primary use of any personal data we collect is to confirm, manage, and deliver your reservation or event. This includes sending booking confirmations, processing payment, coordinating arrival logistics, and preparing the suite or event space to your stated preferences.

Communication & Follow-Up We may contact you prior to your stay to confirm arrival details or share relevant information. After your stay, we may send a single post-stay message inviting feedback. We do not send repeated marketing communications unless you have specifically opted in to our journal or newsletter. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by emailing info@gidsons.com or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send. We will process your request within five working days.

Legal & Safety Obligations Indian law requires us to maintain a register of guests, including their identity documents, for a period of at least one year. This information is stored securely and is accessible only to authorised members of the management team. We do not share it with third parties except where required to do so by law enforcement or other competent authority under due legal process.
